System Diagnosis showcases the core strength of Terence Charles – his songwriting and vocals. By stripping back to basics in the verse piano Charles captures that feeling of being blind-sided by lies and the pain that comes with it.

This raw exploration of dealing with a shattered heart and not knowing how to move on is brilliantly developed in the movingly expressive vocals over the tumbling arpeggios of the dynamic piano of the chorus.
